Even if you just need a little helping hand to get a small job done around the house or garden, Project OsKar would be delighted to help!! Some of the services we offer include:

As Project OsKar has become more established, we have expanded to the point that we are now offering services in addition to those that we originally set out to offer! This is great news and means that we are busier than we had ever dreamed we would be at this stage of the project.
One service which we have huge capacity to expand is property turnaround service. We recently entered into a contract with Renfrewshire Council, whereby we go into void properties and paint, decorate and carpet the house prior to the new tenant taking over the property.
One critical aspect of this service is rapid turnaround. Often the properties need to be cleaned, decorated, repaired and carpeted within four days – and Project OsKar is meeting that challenge!
With our different teams of tradesmen and young people, we co-ordinate the entire operation from start to finish to ensure that the property is turned around in super-quick time, allowing the new tenant to take possession at the earliest possible opportunity.
Clearly, each and every one of these services is also available individually – some clients want their houses cleaned but not painted, or decorated but not carpeted, etc. and at Project OsKar we can be very flexible in offering all or one of our services, depending on each customer’s individual requirements.
Void Properties
For various reasons, many people find themselves in a position whereby they are responsible for the emptying of a property. This could be in the case of a relative dying and them being required to handle the dispersion of the estate. If the person is unable physically to carry out the required work, Project OsKar can come to their assistance.
We can take all the stress out of this duty and can do as little or as much as customers want us to do for them. In terms of clearing a property, Project OsKar would be delighted to take any good quality items that we could then resell to those families most in need in the Renfrewshire area. We would collect any such items and clean and refurbish them where necessary before offering them for sale in our Project OsKar warehouse here at 24 Clark Street, Paisley.
Once the re-usable items are out of properties, there is generally a lot of hard work to be done before the property is suitable for sale or handover to the new tenants. At this stage Project OsKar would take the role of emptying the property entirely of everything – good bad and indifferent! Due to the environmentally friendly nature of Project OsKar, almost every single thing we remove from a void clearance is recycled rather than disposed of. This includes wood, paper, cardboard, metal, clothing, etc. We try very hard to ensure that we do not send any material to landfill disposal, dismantling unusable furniture to recycle all components, rather than rather sending any item of furniture entire to landfill.
Once a property is empty, Project OsKar will clean the entire house to ensure that the house is left suitable for the next stage of action, whether or not we will be involved in that stage.
Decorating, painting and carpet-fitting are all services that we provide and we can offer one or all of these services to void property owners to try and either encourage tenants to take over the property or to make the property more easy to sell, whichever is relevant.
Even the exteriors of the houses can be dealt with by Project OsKar, whether that be external painting, gardening, lawn cutting or just general tidying up of the surrounding area to create a more pleasant impression for anyone coming to view the property.
Several aspects are always critical to delivering a good service – time and flexibility – and at Project OsKar, we pride ourselves on achieving very quick turnarounds and also in listening to each customer and tailoring our service to match their requirements.
